Your area of work

Reporting to the Head of Issuance CBL, you will lead a financial operational team with approx. 14 people, managing all aspects of issuance of securities for Clearstream Banking Luxembourg and LuxCSD for a variety of instrument types, i.e. eurobonds, structured products, money market instruments, certificates & warrants, equities. On top you will lead business initiatives for automation.


Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing, monitoring, and improving the operations function and managing/leading and developing the team of 14 people.


Your responsibilities
  • Operational management and development of the Issuance Service and Automation team
  • Act as Deputy for Head of Section when requested
  • Work closely with other issuances teams to ensure consistency and service delivery
  • Developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance to all operational guidelines, procedures, and policies for your team. Ensure sufficient Unit Recovery Plans and Outsourcing contracts are in place for your team and teams you take over from in contingency situations.
  • Independently handle and initiate the update of internal or external procedures (SLA’s, MOPs,) ensuring such procedures and documents are maintained in line with existing policies and market changes
  • Identifying and assessing operational process improvements for your team taking into consideration customer service, cost effectiveness and controls


Your profile

  • A Level or University degree, or comparable qualifications or banking experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication
  • Leading people management skills
  • Proven leadership and networking capabilities
  • Curious mindset for constant changing environment and situation
  • Demonstrate commitment, initiative, creativity
  • Be proactive as well as look to continuously learn and develop
